A Service You Can Trust

Wooden Security Screens

The procedure of placing wooden boards over a problem window is known as boarding up windows. We employ Oriented Strand Board (OSB), commonly known as sterling board or flakeboard, in 10mm and 12mm thickness. OSB is a form of engineered wood that is designed specifically for use in walls, decking, and flooring. OSB is perfect for load-bearing and, because of its durability, is currently more commonly employed in the construction sector than plywood, accounting for about 60% of all structural panels.

Sitex Security Screens

Sitex security screens are the best in the industry in terms of durability. Entry points using Sitex Security screens are nearly impossible to force open without the use of highly specialised gear. As a result, Sitex security screens are more resistant to attack than wooden boards, whether by fire or brute force. Sitex security screens are made of galvanised (zinc-coated) steel and have machine-drilled holes that allow light to pass through while also providing ventilation when needed. Features include:

  • Galvanised steel construction to deter Intruders
  • Steel construction that is both durable and dependable
  • Ventilation holes can be drilled if needed
  • Arson-resistant
  • Resistant against tools such as crowbars and hacksaws
  • Suitable for use on windows, doors, and other entry points
  • It’s completely recyclable

Security Microfilm

If a window only has a small crack, it might seem excessive to board the whole thing up while waiting for a repair. Furthermore, wooden window boards can look unsightly. Whatever your reason, there is an alternative option in the form of translucent microfilm, which holds cracked or shattered glass together and makes it appear unharmed. Although it’s less secure than other options, it reinforces the glass and makes it more resistant to damage and helps deter would-be intruders.
